Ideal accommodation for cyclists

The Central Mountain of Asturias is well known for the Cycling Ring and the climbs of the Vuelta Ciclista España.
A perimeter route 165 kilometers long, whose route runs through the six municipalities of the region: Aller, Lena, Mieres, Morcín, Ribera de Arriba and Riosa.
The Cycling Ring route has been approved by the Federation of Mountain Sports, Climbing and Hiking of the Principality of Asturias, under the name GR-208. It is conceived as a space prepared for practicing mountain biking and also hiking, divided into a total of eight stages, with a demanding route, perfectly signposted, and with several reception points that will provide complementary services to sports practice.

Routes

L’Angliru

L'Angliru, located in the heart of the Sierra del Aramo, just 20 km from Oviedo, is considered one of the toughest passes in Spain with its 12.6 kilometers of ascent at 9.8% average slope and ramps of up to 23 .6%. The Angliru even changed the bicycles, since the developments prior to its appearance were not valid (practically) to promote it. The triple chainring appeared on the road bike, the 34-tooth chainring appeared, the crowns that previously seemed reserved exclusively for mountain bikes appeared, competitors emerged in Italy (Zoncolan or Plan de Corones), etc.
