During the snow season, our mountains are perfect for skiing and we are also lucky to be just 20 minutes from the Valgrande – Pajares Ski Resort, where we can manage the ski pass for you, ask us!
We also have the other Asturian station nearby, Fuentes de Invierno, 40 minutes away, and San Isidro, which, although it already belongs to the province of León, is only 45 minutes away.
Fuentes de Invierno, located in the heart of the Asturian Central Mountain, offers you 8.7 km of skiing, divided into 15 slopes of different levels: 3 green slopes, 3 blue, 6 red and 3 black. This way all skiers, from the most expert to the most novice, will be able to ski in style. They have 3 chairlifts, 1 ski lift and 1 treadmill – which can transport 8,200 people per hour. There is also a sports equipment rental service available with a total of 300 complete carving ski equipment and 80 snowboard equipment and a ski school with private lessons, weekend courses, adapted skiing, etc.
Considered one of the reference resorts in the Cantabrian Mountains, the winter resort located in the municipality of Lena/L.lena has a long history behind it. With more than 60 years of life (it was inaugurated in 1954), the Valgrande-Pajares station is perfectly connected to the most important population centers in Asturias and León. In the heart of the Cantabrian coast, under the hills of the mythical port of Pajares and in the shadow of Cueto Negro, El Cellón and Las Tres Marías, which are around 2,000 meters above sea level, the Lenense station is one of the oldest in Spain. It has a ski area with 30.9 km of slopes, to which the Gondola, chairlifts and treadmills provide access. The resort has at its disposal a school for private or group classes in skiing, snowboarding, cross-country, freestyle... and a equipment rental store.
