Hiking
A perfect plan could be the route from the La Peral Recreational Area to El Cordal. It is long but quite simple and with hardly any slopes. You can also do it the other way around, starting in El Cordal and ending in La Peral, in both places you can park your car well. In addition, it is a route that can also be done by bicycle. The views are impressive and you find more animals than people, so you can say that you are in the heart of Asturian nature.
From the Pola de Lena square, passing through the town hall gardens to the La Flor hermitage, you can take a mini route of about 3km. Walking parallel to the Naredo River through a riverside forest that will surround you most of the time. This hermitage is where the popular La Flor pilgrimage is celebrated.
One of the best-known routes that you cannot miss in the council of Lena is that of the Meicín Refuge. From San Feliz you drive to the town of Tuiza de Arriba, which is where the route begins. There you can park your car without problem in the parking lot or in a free space on the road.
The beginning of the trail to Braña del Meicín is indicated. You follow the path until you reach the shelter where you can stop to eat, rest or have a drink. Up to here the route is quite simple and takes around 1h30/2h.
The next part is reserved for people with a little more experience and training. From the refuge to Alto Terreos it is harder due to the slope of the climb and it can take more or less 1 hour.
With this route, you can see some of the most famous peaks in the area. We can define it as moderate difficulty in which you can enjoy spectacular views.
